Industries

One shop, many industries.

CENCAL CNC started making parts for Central Valley agriculture and grew into a 73,000-square-foot shop that turns, mills, cuts, forms, welds, and inspects for a much wider range of customers. The equipment and the quality system are the same whichever industry you're in — only the print changes.

Agriculture & Food Processing

Agriculture is where CENCAL started — machined parts for local agricultural manufacturers and packing houses built the reputation the rest of the shop grew from. We still run drive components, stainless change parts, and fabricated line structures for growers, packers, and the OEMs who build their equipment.

Representative parts

  • Harvester, huller, and packing-line drive shafts, stub shafts, and couplings
  • Conveyor and elevator sprockets, hubs, idlers, and bronze bushings
  • Stainless and plastic star wheels, guide rails, and sizer change parts
  • Laser-cut and press-braked hoppers, chutes, transition guards, and machine guarding
  • Tube-laser cut and robotically welded conveyor frames, stands, and implement weldments
  • Stainless wash-down fittings, spray bars, and fluid-handling bodies

Industrial Manufacturing & OEM Equipment

Machine builders and industrial OEMs use CENCAL as a single source for the machined and fabricated content of a build — frames and weldments on one side of the floor, close-tolerance rotating and mating parts on the other. Prototype through production, with reverse engineering when the print no longer exists.

Representative parts

  • Machine base weldments, frames, and structural plates
  • Bearing housings, bushings, spacers, and drive shafts
  • Rollers, idler pulleys, and turned sheaves up to 26" diameter
  • Fixture bodies, tooling plates, soft jaws, and press tooling in tool steel
  • Laser-cut brackets, gussets, mounting plates, and shim sets
  • Sheet-metal guarding, control enclosures, and access panels
  • Reverse-engineered replacement and legacy wear parts

Transportation & Heavy Equipment

CENCAL machines and fabricates the hardware that mounts, drives, and encloses truck, trailer, and off-highway equipment. Cut, form, weld, machine, and finish happen under one roof, so an assembly ships coated and inspected instead of moving between three vendors.

Representative parts

  • Laser-cut and formed mounting brackets, cross members, and gusseted plates
  • Turned axle spacers, hubs, pins, and bushings
  • Hydraulic manifold bodies, port fittings, and cylinder end components
  • Tube-laser cut and welded rails, steps, ladder frames, and rack structures
  • Sheet-metal battery boxes, tool enclosures, and shrouds
  • Powder-coated finished weldments and bolt-on assemblies

Medical & Healthcare

CENCAL machines medical and healthcare components to customer print — the precision turned, milled, and fabricated content inside diagnostic, lab, and facility equipment. The shop runs an ISO 9001:2015 quality system; device-level regulatory responsibility stays with the customer.

Representative parts

  • Swiss-turned pins, shafts, spacers, and threaded fittings under 1.5" diameter
  • Machined aluminum housings and sealed enclosures for diagnostic and lab instruments
  • Stainless fluid-path fittings, manifolds, and small valve bodies
  • Sheet-metal covers, panels, and chassis for equipment cabinets
  • Tube-laser cut and welded cart, stand, and equipment frames
  • Machined plastic insulators, trays, and fixture components

Electronics & Electrical Enclosures

Electronics work plays to the shop's tightest end: Swiss-turned contact and standoff hardware, milled aluminum housings with sealing grooves, and laser-cut, formed chassis and panels. Copper and aluminum thermal parts come off the same floor as the sheet metal that surrounds them.

Representative parts

  • Machined aluminum housings with O-ring or gasket grooves and threaded cable ports
  • Heat sinks, thermal spreaders, and cold plates in aluminum and copper
  • Swiss-turned contact pins, standoffs, threaded inserts, and connector shells
  • Laser-cut and formed sheet-metal chassis, card cages, rack panels, and faceplates
  • Machined plastic insulators, spacers, and non-conductive mounting blocks
  • Precision brackets, backplanes, and mounting plates with tapped patterns

Energy & Grid Infrastructure

CENCAL machines and fabricates for grid and generation work — copper connection hardware, switchgear and transformer structure, and the enclosures and skids that house it. Conductive parts and heavy fabricated structure come off the same floor, so one supplier covers both halves of the assembly.

Representative parts

  • Copper busbars, connection blocks, and terminal pads, cut and drilled to print
  • Switchgear and transformer mounting racks, base skids, and structural frames
  • Machined aluminum and stainless junction boxes, sealed enclosures, and cover plates
  • Turned shafts, couplings, sleeves, and flanged adapters up to 26" diameter
  • Brass, bronze, and stainless valve bodies, fittings, and fluid-handling components
  • Solar-array hardware — tube-laser cut torque-tube brackets, clamps, and pier caps

Data Centers

CENCAL puts US-based machining and automation-driven capacity behind the cooling, power, and rack hardware data centers depend on — cold plates, busbars, and enclosure structures, with the full detail one level down.

Representative parts

  • Liquid-cooling cold plates with internal flow channels
  • Coolant manifolds, fittings, and quick-disconnect bodies
  • Copper busbars, bus-duct components, and PDU chassis
  • Rack, cabinet, and aisle-containment structures
  • Immersion-tank structural weldments and mounting hardware
  • Cable-management trays and precision mounting brackets

Part examples are representative of what our equipment produces, not a customer list. Send a print and we'll tell you plainly whether it's a fit for our floor.

Logistics

We deliver across California.

Finished parts leave Kingsburg on our own trucks. For customers in the Central Valley and across California, that means we control the last leg — no freight broker, no waiting on a carrier's schedule, and a delivery date we can actually commit to. Ask about a delivery route when you quote.

  • California-wide delivery on our own fleet
  • One point of contact from quote through drop-off
  • Custom packaging and crating available

Don't see your industry?

We machine to print across steels, stainless, aluminum, copper, brass, plastics, and exotic alloys. If it fits our envelope, we can quote it.
